Parenting Support: Triple P tip sheets 
Caregivers and children 0-6 years
Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help build strong, healthy relationships and confidently manage their children’s behavior and prevent problems from developing. Triple P has been shown to work across cultures, socio-economic groups and in many different kinds of family structures. Join us for this drop-in parent support program every Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, children are welcome. Topics are as follows:

Parent/Caregiver Wellness Kit 
Caregivers of children 0-18 years
An important part of being a parent is looking after yourself too. If you're tired, stressed or exhausted, it's difficult to be the parent that you're striving to be. But when you feel happy and well you're better able to cope with stress, maintain relationships and enjoy parenthood. Pick up your package filled with information on the following topics to support your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. These packages include activities and materials for parents and caregivers.

Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting  
Caregivers of children 0-18 years
Parenting is a joyful, frustrating, exhilarating and exhausting journey. Positive discipline provides a solid foundation for parents based on the pillars of problem solving, providing warmth and structure, understanding how your children think and feel and identifying your long-term goals. It is a set of principles that can guide all of your interactions with your children, not just the challenging ones. Parents will find effective parenting tools, tips and techniques that will help them tackle parenting challenges and build closer family relationships.

Cooperative Parenting and Divorce   
Caregivers of children 0-18 years
This workshop addresses the importance for co-parents to design a collaborative plan to ensure their children’s needs and interests are the focus and priority through separation/divorce and beyond. Ideally, parents should develop the parenting plan themselves, using the help of professionals focused on supporting their co-parenting efforts.  This session helps separating parents establish a cooperative and positive new relationship as co-parents.

Kids Have Stress Too

Active Parenting     
Caregivers of children 5-12 years
This program teaches proven techniques to assist parents to communicate with children ages 5 to 12 years old. Learn how to achieve cooperation and solve problems together. Topics covered include the active parent, courage and self-esteem, routines and problem solving, responsibility, discipline, cooperation and communication.
